Mark Chelu
As a Mechanical Engineer with a love for the outdoors and adventure, our journey led us to spend many special times in our Volkswagen Campervan, ‘Major’
Major has taken us far and wide around the UK over the last few years to see some spectacular scenery, festivals and spend fantastic moments with friends.
A wish to capture these moments led me to buy my first DSLR camera, a Nikon D3400 and currently, either a D810 or a Z7ii.
And that’s where it started, photography became part of the adventure. And here I hope to share the best of those moments for you to enjoy around your homes and places.

I’m the other half of ‘The Chelu’s’ and I’m a Volunteer Manager by day. I’m inspired by people, connection, places and colour that make me stop and feel a ‘WOW!’
I believe the little things in life arn’t little and that its these moments that make a life. A smile, a hug when someone needs it, a shared loud crowd song at a gig, a quiet sunrise, a glace at your beloved dog snoring in the corner. Thats a good life and thats what I like to capture.
I was ‘arty’ at school but have only really picked up my pencil again over the last year. I have no idea where it has come from except that I feel drawn to capture the moments that land on me and others. When I’m drawing, the pull to keep going is strong. I get scared when it looks difficult, but somehow it lands on the page and people seem to like them so I’ll keep going!
